Career Guidance:

WIN offers a window into diverse investment careers and prospects. This involves inviting financial service companies from both the sell side and buy side of investing to share insights with our members. We arrange guest speakers, corporate visits, and early insight programs. Our upperclassmen readily guide members through the recruitment process. The professional development team is committed to forging partnerships to ensure our members access a wide array of opportunities.

Community:

WIN is dedicated to empowering and supporting Women at Santa Clara University and beyond. Our members are our most valued resource, embracing the diversity of experiences and strengths each individual brings. More than a typical organization aiding internship or job searches, WIN is your friend, your community, and your ally. We're here to help you become the best version of yourself—celebrating your joys, standing by you in frustrations, and cheering you on always. Throughout the year, we foster a caring and enlightening community where Women can learn about financial literacy and embrace empowerment. Our calendar is filled with welcoming social events. Join us on this journey!

Education:

Investors enjoy learning and reading daily to understand the world around them, people, and the global economy. We believe that education is the cornerstone of any growth. WIN's education program is open to all. This beginner course teaches young womxn about the fundamentals of investing in six weeks. Elevate your financial understanding, forge new connections – join our education program.

Philanthropy:

Making a meaningful difference goes beyond the boundaries of the Santa Clara Community for WIN; we're committed to amplifying our impact in the broader community we call home. Our members engage in quarterly community service events. Notably, our major service endeavor involves local high schools. We visit these schools to empower young womxn with insights into personal finance and investing. Recognizing the importance of investing in future generations, we place a strong emphasis on early education. By introducing womxn to the investment field before college, we provide them with choices they might not have considered otherwise.

After being a part of the national organization Girls Who Invest, I felt WIN had to happen. It was really motivating for me to see women support other women in an industry dominated by men, and I wanted to build a similar environment at Santa Clara.

WIN has given me the opportunity to build a community of smart college women who encourage me to be the greatest version of myself and motivate me to lead with confidence. I am very proud of everyone in the WIN community, and witnessing all of these incredible women shape the face of investment gives me hope for the future of investing.

I had a similar community in high school of strong women who were interested in different business fields. When I came to college, I was missing that community. I met Eve in my freshman year business class and we started to build this community.  I love being part of a group of passionate, motivated women in finance where we can â€‹talk about our career aspirations and support one another. My favorite event is the Annual Dinner and being able to play a part in creating this event was amazing. Witnessing the fruition of their hard work, which inspired over 200 women, remains an incredible experience.

Being a part of WIN has been a rewarding experience for me because I have first hand seen how it has contributed to the creation of a friendly and inclusive environment on â€‹campus.  “There is no such thing as a stupid question” using this phrase to help create a safe space where members feel comfortable asking any questions and seeking career advice.

I chose WIN because it was a concept that I knew needed to happen. We often don't see women represented in the finance field, let alone the investment field. Having the opportunity to create an organization that empowers and educates women about this and other fields was something I was excited to partake in. Planning fundraising events, collaborating with board members and encapsulating the feeling of community throughout the year has been an invaluable experience for her. WIN has made such commendable strides through the numerous events put on during our formative year; she envisions nothing but a future of success and inspiration for the organization's legacy.

I love the strong community of women seeking professional development and financial knowledge that WIN has created. When Eve approached me freshman year with the idea of WIN, I immediately knew it was something I wanted to help build and take part in order to promote women in the business school. I am so proud of everything that WIN has been able to accomplish from speaker events with notable SCU alumni and financial professionals to workshops on investment basics and internship preparations. Within the first year, the motivated women in this organization that I worked alongside grew our club from a group of about 10 to a notable organization within the Santa Clara Leavey School of Business, and I couldn't be more proud and excited to see the bright future that lies ahead for WIN.
